All other forms of anarchism have their own community; why not one for syndicalists as well?

It's about damned time we rebuilt a syndicalist movement in the US. Although this LJ probably isn't going to accomplish that... what the hell, every effort counts.

Some sites:

Wikipedia entry on Anarcho-Syndicalism - pretty decent opener to AS

AnarchoSyndicalism by Rudolf Rocker. Widely regarded as the manifesto or 'how-to' manual of AS.

Anarcho-syndicalism 101 - Major As site, very informative.

Industrial Workers of the World - while NOT explicitly anarchos of any sort, the IWW is the closest thing we've got to an AS union in the USA. Very good people to call for help if you're having trouble at work.

Autonome - Think crimethinc., but USEFUL. And actually relevant to those of us without trust funds. ;-)

Workers Solidarity Alliance - "Workers Solidarity Alliance is an anti-capitalist, anti-authoritarian organization of activists who believe that working people can build a new society and a better world based on the principles of solidarity and self-management."
